Notes:
- Out-of-pocket expenses for our flights was only $18 as we used a $100 Delta gift card that I received from work to pay for the taxes
- Camper van refund of approx. $100 (EUR 100) for submitting our camper story to Rent.is and having it published on their blog
- The camper van came with free wifi (limited to 5gb) but we opted to pay for the unlimited wifi
- CDW insurance was included in the camper van price but we paid $260 more for the premium package just to be safe (Iceland's weather can be crazy)
- Most credit card rental car insurance doesn't cover camper vans
- Potential additional savings of approximately $250/pax (for camper van and gas) assuming 5-sharing instead of 3-sharing as our van could fit 5 people
- Credit cards are accepted everywhere (except for coins for hot shower). Remember to request for the 4-digit pin prior to the trip
